I play bass pretty decently already, so I don't know much about guitar but I know all of the fundamentals and stuff that translates over.

So far it's much harder. The sole reason why I bought a guitar was because I was getting tired of the limitations bass set without installing more strings. But it's fun so far, dicking around with the chords i'm learning like the D chord or whatever.

I've played both, very little, but the bass was always much much easier than the guitar.

Tele's are great though. mmm, I had a USA Fender Tele in cream white a couple of years ago, I traded it in but it was beautiful.

I could beatmatch and mix with a MIDI controller, that's about as close as I come to an "instrument"... and I've programmed drum patterns on a 909 emulator once. Though I want to get that Korg DS game...

I inexplicably just bought this on a whim from Amazon.co.uk. On a whim. Because it's not available in the U.S. on Blu-ray. On a whim.

Loved the movie and the book, so why not? Have a huge list of blu-rays I want to buy that just isn't getting smaller, don't know why I started with this, though.

I tried it out in a furniture store, then scored it online for $150 or so less. Steal. The sections hug and support the buttcheeks in a very pleasant fashion indeed.

It's by a firm called 'Hara Chair' btw, the model is called 'Nietzsche' for some reason. I like 'Baboon Ass' better though

Yeah. They fold in and clench your cheeks when you sit down. As soon as i sat down, i was like oooooh, this is niiiiiice.

The only way it could be improved is if the seat was made of thin mesh, like the uber-awesome Herman Miller chairs we have at work. That stops them from getting sweaty over long periods. They're way out of my price range though.
