The red and white kanji as you enter the site really makes it appear to be a SMT title, since they always use that...

From Duckroll:

Quote
It's 100% SMT: Strange Journey. The logo + 8th Oct date image got cached on Japanese webcaches before Atlus managed to take it down, complete with date/time stamp.

I was hoping for Persona 5, didn't finish 4 due to random rage fuckups but i liked the animu school settings.

The bright side of this is that the next game Atlus announces has to be the mystical HD game, right? Right?  :-\

It actually looks like an awesome game (:heartbeat Kaneko  :heartbeat ), but the DS is so technically old and busted compared to everything else.

Looks pretty good other than the few shots that look like EO3.

I like how big and close that guy is in battle.  Looks very menacing even on the ds.

Well Atlus reused all their monsters on the PS2 as well, so this ain't that much different...

More like Shovelware-tlus

Maybe someday they will stop feeding the Wiitard usergroup and make a real HD game.

Each SMT game I've played has been radically different than the previous. It's only been lately that they have gone down the shovelware trail.

They always re-use the demon models on the same platform.  Always.

Atlus has always cut corners like this because for however much hardcore love there is for the company, the reality is that their games by and large sell like shit.  They've had a couple of recent breakout successes with Persona 3/4 and Trauma Center, but almost everything else is sub 100k.

Well if they don't even want to try, why bother buying the shit. Keep making DS games for all I care, they're only a few MB downloads in the end.

The last non-Gundam, non-Super Robot Wars DS game I bought was Final Fantasy IV the day it came out.

It doesn't look like a quick DS cash grab to me. 300 demons, kaneko art, the staff worked in SMT3 and other main SMT games, Meguro music. Looks like the real deal.

This game justifies Devil Survivor's existence.

I'm aware.  It just has the grainy ass DS 3D that reminds me of EO.

it's part of the main series. just not numbered, like SMT ...If

Officially there are 5 SMT games including this one. They have made it clear they are treating thisone as part of the main series.
