Anybody here use/recommend any drum sequencer software?
« on: July 17, 2009, 10:47:49 AM »
A close friend of mine is running into the same problems many musicians in my area have, in that there just aren't that many (good) drummers around here. I've hooked him up with my old drummer for studio work, but is there any cheap, easy-to-use drum software anyone here has messed around with? Something he can whip up a beat on quickly on his computer for home recording?

Nice! Is it fairly straightforward and easy to use? He's not the most tech-savvy guy, but I'd wager he could handle the program judging from the screenshots.

How about fruity loops and EZdrummer? Great quality and fairly easy to use. That's what alot of bands in Saudi use due to the shortage in good trustworthy drummers.

there is no software called fruity loops. and if you'd actually read the thread you'd know why it was silly to mention it in the first place.

Yeah, I was on my iPhone and I skipped a few posts accidentally. Haven't used a drum sequencer ever since we built our own studio but I always see some of my friends using Drumkit From Hell via EZdrummer. Are you familiar with it?
