How did this series go from me praising the first game as one of the best games I'd ever played to me wanting to punch Sega in the face for announcing another one?

Oh, by releasing like 5 identical games in less than 5 years.

I played Yakuza 2 and was utterly unimpressed. Don't know why people get so hyped for them.

Still waiting on announcement for the third game in English.

Still have Yakuza 1 and 2 sitting here unplayed.

The only ones that you're right about is Megaman, which Capcom has been milking forever and maybe Monster Hunter which I know absolutely nothing about.

There's already been 2 Yakuza games on the PS3 that look like they don't play much differently than the PS2 games and now their already announcing a third one. That's ridiculous and also a perfect way to kill off a good franchise. It's not much different than Activision and all the Guitar Hero games.

It seems like they pump out these games yearly. Maybe I'd give a shit if Sega actually released one of the PS3 games over here, I thought the first two were a lot of fun.

Was Ryu Ga Gotoku 4 announced today? I know that Nagoshi had something in the series in the works, but he wouldn't say what it was exactly.

I'm still giving Sega until April 2010 to announce an English version of Ryu Ga Gotoku 3. If they don't by then, I'll just pick up a cheap copy while I'm on vacation in Japan.
