Just played the first level in story mode.

Right off the bat, you notice that there is no 3d movement. It's still 8-directional movement, so playing with a d-pad is your best option.

Graphics-wise it doesn't have the same charm as the 2-d game, though some of the animation is quite nice. Honestly, it would have been alot better with re-drawn sprites and it kept the cartoony look.

It feels like they just took the old game and upgraded the graphics so far. Will try multiplayer later.

Honestly, I can't even contemplate how they could even think about charging 1200pts for it.

It the same game with stupid, no personality 3d graphics.

and it's about 40 minutes long.   I don't get the hype for this one.

I thought this was gonna be a turd when we first saw the video, but it won me over bigtime when I played the demo. The graphics actually look pretty good in motion when you're actually playing. I don't lose sight of my character the way I did in TMNT Arcade.

I like being able to attack vertically and diagonally and shit too, I think that's new for this version. And $10 is the sweet spot. I think I'm gonna get it, unless none of my irl XBL friends like it.

I wish Survival Mode had been a horde mode instead of just playing the game on one credit. Also, why didn't they just use the title screen video graphics and cel shade them?

Music is all different iirc, but I haven't played the original in a while so I wouldn't know.

Did they mess with the music?

Yep, it's been remixed to the point of being unrecognizable and unmemorable.

This game is poop. I just beat Baxter without being hit once.

Everything is lacking textures. Very cheaply made. No thanks, will keep my TMNT original.

Just snagged the demo off of my Japanese account. Everything seems to be in English. I thought it was supposed to released everywhere today.

I'm waiting on some J-point to be e-mailed to me, and then this game is mine!  FUCK DEM TOITLES.

This is the same as the Wii version, right?  Guess I'm double dipping, but fuck it-- I'd rather play this on tree-sitty.

Ugh, the music was like my favorite thing about Turtles in Time. I'm not wasting my money on this.

Turtles in Time was great in the arcades but always sucked as a home console game.  Now it apparently comes with awful graphics and shit music to complete the package.  Pass.

I just beat Shredder, by myself, on Hardcore without losing a life, and I barely even broke a sweat. They've really toned the difficulty down on this game. Also I don't like how they changed the online mode too. Much prefered the original XBLA game's 20 continues and you're gone approach.
