I actually think that a sequel that tells the story of a middle-aged Ferris Bueller played by Matthew Broderick, directed and written by John Hughes would be one helluva movie concept.
I mean, the philosophy in Ferris Bueller's Day Off is even more relevant now than it was then, due to office jobs, over reliance on computers and more.
Matthew said he'd only be in a sequel if John wrote/directed it. Now it ain't happenin.
