Yep game is awesome. I'm going the Demi route of playing this on Insane. I want that Level 50 achievement as early as possible.

Oh and did anyone notice the 'eye' textures on the girlfriend? A bit glossy, but looked better than anything I've seen in a triple-A title.

The script and the resulting acting is pretty god awful, but I'm just going to pretend that it's meant to be cheesy.

I don't like how you can be shot at, but not able to shoot back in certain instances. You have to be in a certain spot in order to shoot in 3d. That's my biggest complaint

This game is great. I usually hate the 1200 price point, but that's a steal with this game. It's definitely much bigger than any other XBLA game to date.

It's picked up a bit now that I have the jump pack. There are some weird areas though, where you are not exactly close to a save point and they have you do some ridiculous shit (electric water room, etc.)

Good jon Nintendo and Konami, you both had the key franchises to push this genre forward and Epic beat you to the punch, even though you had years upon years to prepare.

Can't wait until Infinity Ward comes out with a FFXIII killer.

if you collect all gold bars, you get all the guns at the start.  Playing on the hardest difficulty with super powerful gun  :borys

alt. ending is hilarious btw.  every game should have this.

forgot to mention that as you level up, ammo becomes infinite.  no need to collect power ups to get unlimited ammo, probably helps that item percentage requirement.

This is more Metroid than I was expecting. Totally my type of game and it has some great looking environments to boot.

The helicopter chase scene across the lake then through the cabin and over the lake again was pure sex.

Metroid and Metroidvania are two of my favorite games, so suffice to say this is pretty awesome.  Combat is a bit shit though, especially attempting to shoot into the screen.  Camera pan isn't that great either.  Slow horizontal pan sometimes allows enemies to shoot at you before you can see them.  You also can get stuck making jumps sometimes.  Surprised a game this highly rated has a bunch of technical issues like this.  Despite this the game is still great fun, yet a tad overrated.  SC really isn't on the same level as Metroid or Castlevania, but its only 15 bucks and there are only so many times I can replay SoTN without wanting to try something new!

no more than prime is an FPS.

played this game today. it's awesome, and it looks great, which makes the bland environments just that much more heartbreaking. but whatever, <3 it.

best game with epic's involvement, cliffy b. be damned.

Re: SHADOW COMPLEX

probably, yeah

only things I didn't like was the sometimes bad combat (shooting into the screen is stupid, the three turret sections were lame, and some sections have enemies shooting off screen) and that it became somewhat janky as you kept progressing.  Like, sometimes my guy wouldn't wall jump and other things like that, and there was one specific section where I kept dying because the game would skip and not register my double jump.  Other than that it's incredible.

this game is a better uncharted than uncharted

It's kinda funny how the main character is Drake when you start out.  One thing I realized when playing Uncharted the other day is that the guy who voices him annoys me in every game other than Unchated (Ass.Creed, PoP, this).  But whatever, who cares, game is awesome.

The background-shooting parts are the only shitty part of the game imo. They should have let you click the left stick or something to go into cover, which would make you shoot exclusively into the background.

Played the demo, it was OK,  but the controls seemed a bit stiff (I hate how there's like a bit of lag when you turn) and how it's like 15 bucks. It's better than most of Epic's games lately at least. I'll probably get it when it drops in price.
