I hate the ribbon too - it's on other people's computers in the office but I myself will stubbornly cling to Office 2003 and XP for as long as possible.

Ribbon was a bit disorienting at first but its superior after getting used to it.  I appreciate the risk MS took by revamping the menu interface to one of their most consistent top selling products.
