New laptop comes with Vista Home Premium- SHould I downgrade to XP?

Should I pop down to XP or grin and bear it until Windows 7? I'm not sure how heinous Visat Home Premium really is.

I'm by no means any sort of power user, but I've always really liked Vista. I'd say stick with it, unless it starts to actually hinder your work in some way.

I've never liked Vista, but then again I never took the time to learn it.  I'm still running XP and haven't had an issue really, yet. 

Though, I do want to get Windows 7 and mess around with it.

Depends on how poweful your laptop is. If it just barely meets Vista's minimum requirements, it'll probably run a lot smoother with XP.

Downgrade to XP, then upgrade to Vista Home before windows 7 so you can upgrade easily to windows 7 when it comes out.
