I'd like to get something that will run Diablo 3. I know, I know, specs aren't out yet and blah blah blah. Whatever.

Here are my requirements:

-must run Diablo 3
-should be around $1k
-must be available from newegg, as I've got a 2500 line of credit through them

Suggestify.

If all you want is Diablo 3 (just to play it, not perfect performance or anything) almost anything should do. Blizzard games are usually meant for everyone.

Closest thing I can find to the REPUBLIC OF GAMERS laptop, Triumph.

It has a dedicated 1GB GPU, which I'm sure is enough for Diablo 3. Blizzard is usually good in terms of optimization.

I'd make sure it at least has a dedicated videocard. I wouldn't want to try running D3 on some $399 integrated system.

REPUBLIC OF GAMERS. $1100 at MOST and you will have your computing dick sucked by the most glorious of portable pixel-shading hardware. you can probably find them for cheaper if you shop around.

When I'm gonna get a new laptop somewhere end this year I'm gonna put a SSD in it. Around 120GB should be enough for now.

I need a new laptop anyway, and I'm trying to improve my credit score and buying this with my newegg line of credit and then paying it down is a good way to do that.

You can get the Himumu special, which is the new gen version for 1100$ with a downclocked graphics card. Do enjoy. Still a deal.
