Because I am suffocated in a white guilt shithole every day, I don't need it online.

Don't lie, Cohen. We know you love it. After listening to the album during an interview with the band, BBC Radio 1 presenter Zane Lowe updated his Twitter account with a description of the album as "A beautifully recorded, strong, sweeping, fighting, uplifting, rocking, and inclusive record about love."[21]. On July 6, 2009, Zane Lowe was speaking about The Resistance on BBC Radio 1. Lowe mentioned how he thought it is the most focused recording that Muse has ever come out with, and that he thought the 3-part "Exogenesis Symphony", which he said fits seamlessly into the rest of the album, is the most ambitious project that the band has ever pulled off. "There are massive riffs in there, there are quirky pop songs in there, there's all sorts of wonder in there, it is absolutely amazing".[22] During the end of June 2009, an editor for the Japanese music magazine Rockin' On went to Lake Como along with representatives of Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium and Switzerland for interviews and to have a listen-through with the album. The editor, Yukiko Kojima went on to state that the album was an "incredible masterpiece," that "the band succeeded to express art to a high degree, which consist with accessibillity," and even called it an "authentic miracle."[23]
absolution being a radiohead rip off
The chorus sounds like a fusion of the choruses from Stockholm Syndrome and Fury. They use melodies that sound kind of similar to each other on occasion. And for such a hard-rocking band, they kind of suck at choruses - Hysteria and Plug In Baby are the only really classic ones they've written in my opinion. I'll take this opportunity to put forth another Muse-related observation: the resurgence of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" has transformed Muse's "Endlessly" from an underrated, quietly beautiful track to something completely laughable and impossible to take seriously. Quote from: twerd on August 13, 2009, 04:06:49 AMIt's like a terrible Pablo Honey with heavier guitars and a mouth-breather for a singer. In what ways is it similar to Pablo Honey?
