Thanks for reading my terrible excuse for a limerick. I think you guys could tell I was having trouble with the second half of it.

Though, if you can believe it, the first draft was even worse. It had the line, 'buggering beelzebub's buttcrack', in it.

Hopefully, this would spur some more people to enter the competition, where something half decent would win it. For the good of English poesy, stop me from winning the competition!

I laughed hard at doug's "My monocle would have popped off my face" during Kev's mention of the portrayal of Harry Knowles in Fanboys

The Nate Silver comment reminded me of a book that I have called "What's the matter with Kansas?" by Thomas Frank. It examines the modern phenomenon of midwestern states voting Republican (even though they historically were Democratic), even though their policies are structured to work against them and more in favor of the wealthier populace.

The podcast keeps getting better and better. The chemistry between you guys is growing as well. As I mentioned recently, I think the podcast works bests when you guys have guests. The two man format is still very well done, however.
