HELLZ YEAH!

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/fable-iii-preview

Don't even bother giving Fable II a real ending, just do a whole new game.

Molyneux says that with Fable II's story they were still learning the art of story creation.

"This time, for me, we really are taking this seriously." [So they didn't take it seriously in Fable II?]

half the shit he's going on about either won't end up in fable 3 or they'll be poorly implemented features

Molyneux is like the Newt Gingrich of video game devs- he's never done anything he promised to do, but for some reason people keep listening to him like he's a voice of authority or something.

That's expression touch, but then there's dynamic touch, which "enables you at any time to reach out and touch someone - to hold someone's hand, to pull them along, to be pulled by then, to take the person you love to the top of a cliff and look at the sunset." And cup them?

I personally have never bothered with the Fable games, after I found out that this "lifelong journey" you were supposed to be able to make could be completed in... like 15 hours or something?  Molyneux has always been full of shit, quit giving him your monies guys.

I dont understand the logic behind slicing fable 2 into chunks.

Yeah Fable II is a pretty short, shitty game on its own.

Oh and in Fable III, I hope they get rid of the tedious minigame jobs. God I literally must of spent hours just pressing 'A' as a blacksmith and a bartender. What a stupid concept. Just give me money for completing missions and quests. I'm supposed to be a hero - you don't see Superman taking out garbage on a monday morning, do you?

In fact, tax the people of Albion for my upkeep. I am kind of part of the emergency services, aren't I?

It's because he seems like a child with massive ADD when he talks, but since he has an accent, people think it's more grand than it really is.

I'm still down for Fable 3.  Fable 2 was alright for the life-sim type stuff, even though the rpg stuff was pretty dull.

Well, the first Fable was pretty fun as a short, easily digestible hack-and-slash action RPG, and although I still need to play Fable 2, the sequel looks to be the same. I'll admit I got sucked in by the insane hype the first Fable had but after overlooking that, I enjoyed it, certainly more than Jade Empire.

I loved Fable 2. Probably one of the best X360 games I've played.

Fable 3 will be mine. The release seems to be a bit too soon, though.

That's a pretty good comparison and I agree, even though the quests in Jade Empire were more interesting than the story stuff in Fable.

I am reserving rolleyes for the pricing announcement. I am expecting full-on gouging with the episodes

I find it really difficult to muster up much enthusiasm for more Molyneux promises that won't be kept.

Almost no question I'll buy it but I wish Molyneux would shut the fuck up and keep natal away from it.  They also need to give some reward for exploring and stop putting pauper hats in massive chests at the end of dungeons.

You can always do a bit of trading at the start exploiting the basic economy system, buy some properties, then sit back and become a millionaire.

I never played Fable, played to 880/1000 on a borrowed copy of Fable II, had -no- desire to go Gargoyle, Gesture, and Book hunting or whatever the hell it was I am still lacking. It was fun, I played it until it was on the border of becoming non-fun, and I actually liked coming back to town, seeing my bawdy wife and plucky kids. I think my undead girlfriend even popped out a kid before I was done.

It's a quality game, but I don't see it as being /that/ much more impressive than any other 3rd person action RPG, and Molyneux's promises are never kept, so I am hard-pressed to work up much steam about a game that will not have whatever M. announces, and won't be here for a dog's age anyway.

So the blind chick that helps you on your adventure is evil, right?

Not really... did you play Fable 2. I understand you are an up and coming videogame journalist so I will let this slide as it is part of the job description.

Lionhead made Black & White, one of the most heart crushingly disappointing games of all time.

Fable I and II were fun, though, but Molyneux is a lying dickwad that loves to masturbate on camera and cum on the face of millions of screaming fanboys. I'm gonna punch Milo in his creepy pedo face.
