Not really.  I went to a cocaine bar in Atlanta once.  It was $20 to get in and you could drink as much as you could hold in, plus the cost of blow.  $20 all you can drink is a pretty good deal for degenerate alcoholics like me.

Two interesting things from that article, the waiters actually bragged how the owner paid off "the right people" and apparently the fucking president is a coca grower?  That's the invisible hand of that market.

Actually, this is probably one of the safer bars in Bolivia for (single) tourists. Imagine if there was a full-out coke haven in the way Amsterdam is for pot. It would make insane money.

Of course it's not unsafe.  A large part of the agricultural industry and the government is geared towards shoving a recreational drug up foreign noses.  The bad thing is when you get cartel wars, corruption, and general political instability.

Fuck I mean, the president kicked out the DEA even.  The CIA probably has blue balls from not shoving a JDAM up Morales' ass.
