The daily Woot the other day was a nifty flashlight, which I grabbed two of.

Uhm... trying to remember everything I bought is hard.. There's so much of it.

I bought like four or five M2010 fat packs... and food stuffs.

Yeah it's really handy, played it at lunch today. It doesn't have the transtrem though, those are on the more expensive models where you can down tune in a heartbeat with the trem system.

A bit yeah, I found myself playing 2 frets up by accident a couple of times. I'm getting used to it now though.

Got this at a Sam Ash in NYC on 48th, dude they have some sweet guitars there.

Also, Heaven and Hell is having a meet and greet there on August 26th @ 6pm so I'm gonna go there right after work.

GMT delivered this beast to me today. We're planning on setting up and playing the "semi-big" campaign over the Labor Day weekend and hitting the really honking big five-mapper afterwards if we wind up digging it . I've already got a PBEM partner too to show me the ropes, which is always really helpful (as is knowing the original testers, who turned me on to it about two weeks ago).

Here's the full unboxing, not under plexiglass on the game table since I still have PoG set up at the moment (game takes like six hours to play, hard to do in one sitting):

I thought it was totally campy and kind of ridiculous, but once I tried it on and realized that it would be only $32 after our Macy's Platinum discount (normal clearance price was $50), it was pretty damn cool. I can't imagine paying the full $259 MSRP on it, though.

Can't wait to get my suit, they had to hem the pants and bring the sleeves in slightly on the jacket. Best thing about having a Platinum Macy's card is free alterations!!

Got this for $12 at Big Lots.

This thing is ridiculously powerful. It could shoot up to 6 shot-gun blasts before it has to be re-pumped.

I also got myself a new Direct-TV HD receiver and plan. The service is about $20 more than my cable service but it's definitely worth it.

Not only do I get more channels but the picture quality is much higher. HD on Time Warner cable was a joke. It wasn't even DVD quality.

With Direct-TV, I get quality somewhere between Blu-ray and DVD.

Arguably the best Zelda ever. This or Wind Waker if you are more of a graphics whore. Twilight Princess is really Ocarina of Time 2.0. For some it's the best thing ever for others the worst.

Maybe one day I'll play this, if I can find a copy of the superior non-shitty control Game Cube version.

Better yet, I should probably play Okami and forget about this Zelda crap.

I don't know if you've played Okami yet but I've found it kind of dull unfortunately. I've struggled to keep going and have played about 15 hours hoping it might get more captivating, but have put it down for now. It's nice, just not very riveting.

I just hated how you get half-way through Okami only for the "BUT WAIT, THERE'S LIKE 15 HOURS TO GO!" after you beat the mid-game boss. That's when I quit.
