Outside of movie scores RZA needs to just be done. Pretty clear he doesn't really care anymore and he'd rather focus on directing and scoring. Keep him away from Wu albums outside a hot 8 bars of bullshit. Let Mathematician or one of those dudes ex produce it but give them a reasonable sample budget.

This album just sucks so fuckin bad. It's so much worse than 8 diagrams. Every song on this is so blatantly 'frankenstiened'. I wrote up like a three page long dissertation on how disappointing/miserable this phoned in bullshit makes me and deleted it out of better judgement.

look at the projects Rae has been involved with in the last few years, like that last CNN record.  He actually has a great ear for making a cohesive project.   #raewasrightallalong

Just a few years ago he did this.

You can tell which parts Kanye did (ie the overproduced shit) but that piano loop and synth are VINTAGE RZA.

I don't get it. Plenty of producers have move on to bigger things beyond music without falling off. Even Dre has done dope shit since become a mogul; his fingerprints are all over GKMC and some of the beats on Relapse are good.

Even Premo can put out a dope track everynow and then. Large Professor is still dope. I don't get it.

Honestly you're probably right. He apparently has a trove of shit from the Wu Forever era, which is no doubt dope. We'll know soon, apparently Busta Rhymes took a bunch of the beats earlier this year.

Rae was right. I just can't imagine someone that salty listening to these beats and saying "you know what RZA, this is hot." I haven't finished the album yet but the only beat I've heard I like without any reservations is Necklace...produced by 4th Disciple.

I promise if they had shitty production, you and millions of other people wouldn't even like them.

Good beats and a melodic flow carried them for years but they said absolutely nothing.

I don't even need a rapper to "say something" but these dudes lyrics were completely forgettable.

got back from Run the Jewels in NYC.  Gangsta Boo showed up for her verse for Love Again which probably made it the least awkward performance of that song on the tour.

the audience up front where we were shooting were made up of young suburban white kids going absolutely insane.   http://instagram.com/p/wAZL6hvYjH/  <-- for like an hour and 10 minutes.

Ratking was down to just two people with Sporting Life (the producer) taking on the Hak role and singing hooks.

Despot said his album is finally coming but he also mentioned that it was all produced by Ratatat, so I guess it's been sitting on a shelf for like 7 years.

Stayed near the back. This chubby asian dude in front fainted. Mike and El-P let him get on stage and stand to the side, but not before pointing out that he had on a sweater & jacket and calling him an adorable chubby fuck. :lol
