As I said years ago, rappers with real jobs is fascinating to me. If I had the balls to follow my passions instead of saving money for corporations I'd love to write a piece on this and interview some of my favorite rappers. Some guys who are "underground" make enough money touring/producing/sales/etc to sustain themselves; Black Milk, Oddisee, pre-deal Bronson, etc do enough to get by. But what about guys like Roc Marci, Elucid, Mayem Lauren, Xquire, Billy Woods, etc? Also I'd be curious to find out how older rappers are holding on. Like what does Masta Killa do when the Wu isn't on the road? Does he have a job, or is he set from the group? I remember reading he was into real estate, dunno if that's true. I'd imagine there's an interesting dynamic between the well off Wu members (RZA, Method Man), those who are doing good (Ghost, Rae), and those who have had less success/means of income (Deck, Cappa, etc).
