Going to Canada (Toronto) this October
« on: August 27, 2009, 01:13:46 PM »
So my girlfriend was supposed to come back to Saudi from Canada a few weeks ago but unfortunately her mom fell ill to kidney disease. I want to be there for them so I'm gonna be heading to Canada for a few weeks. Now I haven't been outside the Gulf (Bahrain, Qatar, UAE) region since I was in Virginia back in 2001. What should I expect from Toronto in October? How's the weather then? What attractions/activities do I need to indulge in? Will I spot a moose?

Any help will be sarcastically appreciated.

Well, the world has changed since 2001. We pretty much hate everyone from the Middle East now.

... and most of our major cities are engulfed in sexual decadence and moral decay. I am sure you will not be welcome.

Enjoy your stay!

Wilco does not speak for Canada!  I do.

It might be mildly cool in October too.

Enjoy your stay!

How about bald people? What's Canada's stance against the hairless?

Not from Toronto but went to college in Buffalo, so I've been there a number of times...

-Ontario Science Centre
-Guvernment/Kool Haus (nightclub)
-Eaton Centre (giant shopping mall)
-Pacific Mall (for bootlegged goods)
-Yonge/Dundas St (shopping)
-CN Tower
-Hockey Hall of Fame (never got to go unfortunately)
