I've actually been thinking of picking up a long board and using it for shorts commutes and riding in the parks. I know Williamsburgs is full of 30--I'm 28 BTW--somethings who can easily rock a long board. But I'm too self conscious to try. The last time I had a board was back in early 1990s.

watch anime. I'm secretly the world's biggest japanophile and think nippon is so kawaii. I'm also obsessed with schoolgirls that kick the shit out of robots at 5 frames per second. I think anime has really deep and interesting stories, especially when the women in the shows appear to be available and when the men are too shy to tell the innocent and busty girls the way they feel and have to fight monsters that are representative of the struggle of the boy to live up to his father, who was infinitely more masculine, tough, and successful than him. There should also be some christian symbolism, often after an explosion that quickly takes the form of a cross in the sky. It'll be deep. You won't understand the complexity of it because it is too complex for you to understand. I'd like to witness this all from my parents' basement.

BUT ALAS, my macho man exterior and life as a construction worker in new york city prevents me from committing to true otakuism.

I can't use a urinal when there isn't a bit a privacy to them - ie when it's just a big long line of them. I don't mean I can't as in I've never tried. I have but I get anxious and my bladder locks up :'( If they have a bit of a screen to them I'm fine then.

Go on vacation to a foreign country by myself... I really want to go to Japan and Australia, but the only one of my friends who would go is such a pain in the ass to travel with. I was kinda hoping to have a g/f who likes travel, whom I could go on all these exotic out-of-country trips with, but it doesn't look like that's happening any time soon.

I'm gonna start small, I'm going to a 2 day music festival by myself. I'm the type of person who is embarrassed going to the movies or eating at a restaurant by himself tho.

My little brother still talks about being a game designer...he even applied for a course in game design but was distraught to learn that he needed an actual portfolio to even apply. Needless to say, he has no relevant skills other than liking games so creating this portfolio from scratch over a weekend was pretty tough for him.
