I think it was a drop. He had it in the air, but when he came down the ball slipped away from his hands and he had to pull it back. Either way it was incredibly close.

Official review on the final play of the game!! Absolutely incredible.

Great game, the ACC embarrassed themselves this weekend though. Plus the two teams who were picked by most to be THE two teams who would win the ACC, FSU or Va Tech, lost in week one. Pretty horrible.

I've only lived here for 2 years... I'm sure if I had spent most of my life here it might be more interesting to me... no, it wouldn't because it's still slow and lame and most of the good players only stop by for a year because the NBA makes them. College sports just suck for the most part.

82 games of long ass season only to end at the end of the year with half the league getting in anyway, including some under .500 team in the East. The NBA regular season is the most irrelevant regular season in all of sports.

I used to love the NBA back in the mid 90's. The rivalries and excitement were great ,but the quality of play has went down a ton. Tomorrow Jordan along with Robinson and Stockton will be inducted into the Hall. Those were the days, there was some badass games back then that nowadays just suck.

My problem is that I find basketball in general to be boring as dogshit. No one really tries very hard for the most part (not a lot of defense is played in the NBA) in the pros and in the college ranks you have people who might be trying hard but aren't very talented. Really, the person to blame for most of this is David Stern for turning the NBA from a team based sport into a cult of personality where manchildren can throw tantrums on and off the court, act like horse's asses and nothing ever happens... unless they jump into the stands or something. The NBA could use a Roger Goodell type commish.
