Texas and Alabama almost ruined the season this past weekend.

Still, it's going to be awfully funny if there are 5 teams sitting at undefeated after Saturday's games. (There are six now, and one has to lose.)

Texas should win. Nebraska's defense is pretty awesome, especially with Ndamukong Suh but their offense is awful.

TCU is in the clubhouse, they're undefeated and done.
Boise State has New Mexico State, who should not pose a challenge.
Texas has Nebraska? Mark it, dude.
Alabama and Florida, one has to lose.
Finally, the probable wild card is Cincinnati. They play Pitt. Could probably go either way.

So at minimum, there will be 4 undefeated teams, Cincinnati would make 5. TCU has beaten at least three BCS conference teams, two in the ACC, including one that is playing for the ACC Championship. Boise State beat Oregon at the beginning of the year. Cincinnati is in a BCS conference, so it's hard for the system to say they're unworthy when the system has deemed the conference worthy. And, of course, Alabama/Florida/Texas, who are the best on paper.

But who would have had Boise State over Oklahoma a couple of years ago in the Fiesta Bowl? Who would have had Utah demolishing Alabama last year?

I really think a lot of the hate VY gets is because of people losing money on that championship game. The comments he gets from commentators are just ridiculous.

My old barber lost $1000 on that game, he hates Young, plus I know a couple other people who lost money off it

Weis is officially gone from Notre Dame, and it looks like Bobby Bowden is going to announce his retirement from Florida State tomorrow.

As a fan of FSU football, it's sad to see Bowden go, but I'm also excited to see if Jimbo can ~~change his name~~ change the program's fortunes from the past few years. Still, the Seminoles without Bowden would be like the Bulls without Michael Jeffrey Jordan. Just doesn't seem right.

The game was still very winnable for Florida at that point. Alabama destroyed them with that drive. I guess Florida could have made it respectable if Tebow didn't throw that last INT, but that 3rd quarter drive ultimately decided the game. Really surprised Florida couldn't stop Alabama's run game at all
