Sequence is ASS and POO

I feel bad for that guy that gave out like 5000 free copies of it at GAF because he seemed really proud of it, but it was indeed shite. Gameplay was bleh, and it tried like 10000% too hard to be cute.

It's a rhythm-action game with bad music and worse gameplay. Britney's Dance Beat has better mechanics (I know; I played it). Some serious D-level shit.

Me too. I definitely enjoy the concept, and I myself have pondered why first person adventure games must be so shitty.

Part of the problem is that most first-person adventure games wanted to be too much like Myst, and they're all like "oh, let's have no plot and really obtuse puzzles that can only be solved by translating some alien language and then applying a base 17 number system!" SNORE.

Yeah, it doubly sucks because then you gotta wait until you come home just to start downloading it. Steam needs a "start downloading this game automatically as soon as it unlocks" option.

The port job is kinda lackluster. I was hoping to see this game in 1080p and you can't even alter the resolution.

Despite this, still a great game.

huh? you go into the help and settings and choose display settings or something like that to change resolution. it most definitely can be run at 1080.

the game seems like a fine port. 360 controller maps fine. it runs @ 60fps maxes out and looks real nice.

i played the first two missions with two other friends and it's mad fun.

sort of related:  Origin is now supporting non-EA games from THQ, Warner and Capcom.  originally it seemed to just be EA's thing.  now it's going the Steam way.

on the bright side, dueling deals?

It's piss easy, and you can beat it in about 4-5 hours. Though the combat gets monotonous after about...oh, two battles. It's like DQ 1 if you didn't have any items or spells.
