I was in your city a few hours ago at PAX. Awesome time. Uncharted 2 was playable, as was God of War III. It was basically all the fall games playable, a few 2010 (Heavy Rain).

The microsoft booth, was okay. They had 12 places to Play Left 4 dead 2. One station to play a few XBLA games. Halo ODST, and Forza 3. They seemed to place to much on ODST and L4D. Their indy booth games were toally fun. I like Dust, it won at the Indie contest they held.

I went to the Panel they held for how to keep the community under control. Some nice ban stories, but mostly fun to hear how they have to manually process all the complaints on XBLive.

Uncharted 2 was playable. It was chapter 5 (IIRC), the city undersiege (IIRC). You play in the city starting off with a truck chasing you around and you wind up in the city, it look much like the trailer they did for E3 with the helicopter. Fun.

They had it playable on the show floor. It was fun enough, I am just not a big FPS person.

OF all the games they showed, my favorites were Uncharted 2 and Pixel Junk Shooter.

There is enough puzzles between shooting on Uncharted that I can relax and think.

Most awesome prt of PAX was the GiantBomb reunion panel.

The took NOS energy drink and poured it into those cup of noodles (beef) and let it sit for 30 minutes and had a 3 person eating contest. First won a copy of Rock band beatles (game only). They said it tasted like ass, I believe it, I sampled NOS. 8 hours, two coffees, 1 smoothie, Two long board beers, and bushing my teeth I can still taste it.

No problems. glad to share the wealth. This PAX i decided it was event time. Went to nearly half the panels/omeganauts. Concerts both nights. I trolled the floor a hour or so the first two days and got my swag. Today was for the bore, and a few friends at work.

Next year if anybody is coming, we should do a Bore meet and go drinking. I would have done it this year, but I was on vacation the week before, and swamped at work.

Freezepop and Jack and storm announced they would be getting Rockband DLC this week during their concerts. Last year I believe that most of the same was done for last year. It was fun to see Wil Wheaton during the break annouce that he was the president of the geeks and that he was giving the D20 award of music to Jonathan Coulton.

It a beta key. As swaggaz says via gaf. it starts in a few weeks. I also don't know how long the beta will be for. I played a few minutes of the game. FPS can be fun now and then, but are not my thing. But I knew the hype around the game was pretty big at the offical Sony forums so I snagged a few extra code to give to people here. Assuming the hype would be as equal. So understand that I don't know the details as I wasn't really interested in knowing them. That and I had 10 minutes to snag more swag before I had to run to lineup for the Will Wheaton awesome hour.

Yeah, I liked the MC Frontalot track last year, because I've also been following Brad Sucks since he made that CD from spam email. Freezepop is fun to listen too, but their tracks are very difficult for me for some reason.
