Well, I have a problem.  Cute girl at work, she calls me joshy poo and hugs me every time she sees me because I make eye contact and smile.  95% sure she knows I like her buuuuuuut its probably just playful teasing on her part.  As in, she enjoys the attention but has no interest in me.  This happens quite often because are turnover is so high and we have new girls signing on every week.  Nevah teh les, I always feel I could use this as a starting point.  Conventional wisdom says otherwise.  Whats a good reliable method to start being interested in other people without necessarily being a giant phony?  I understand there is a game perse, but feigning interest is a lot of hard work for me and it can be mentally taxing.

i haven't kept up with your drama, but if you're still having social anxiety issues it somewhat helps to go in and expect nothing.  Its reeeeeaaaaaaaallllllyyyyyyy easy to express attraction in someone else when you don't care what's going to happen.  Worst case scenario, they kill or mutilate you out of disgust. How realistic is that?  Commonplace scenario is a polite rejection that you don't need to obsess over.  I think my first "flirt" was simply telling a girl she was "purty" and asking for a hug.  She thought it was adorable and obliged. Later she sat down next to me.  Nothing came of it ultimately.  I didn't die and I didn't find true happiness.  But I learned something.  There wasn't a huge consequence attached to something as simple as a fucking sentiment.  I'm at a point where its easy to get a girl to notice and want to interact with my socially distinguished mentally-challenged self.  I just need to actually give a shit about something so I can sustain a conversation.

Stop being a bitch and just ask her out. You can't just assume she has no interest.

What if Malek saves her life from a situation,  has put her in, in the first place!

It's a very good assumption that a girl you've had limited interaction with has no interest. Doesn't mean you can't try an honest approach and present yourself.
