(Sept. 9) - A 15-year-old Florida boy has been charged with scheming to kill his mother, and a 13-year-old friend has been charged with attacking her, reported WSVN-TV in Miami.Police said the friend tried to stab Eliana Poveda as she was dropping off her son at her ex-husband's Miami home Friday evening. The 13-year-old went after Poveda with a steak knife and hit her several times, police said.Police told WPLG-TV, another local station, said Poveda's son was angry at her because she wouldn't let him change high schools. The son promised the 13-year-old that he would be initiated into a group called "The Sons of Anarchy" if he carried out the killing, police said.The son faces charges including solicitation to commit murder, the TV stations reported. The 13-year-old has been charged with offenses including attempted first degree murder.WSVN reported that authorities plan to try the son as an adult. Poveda said she was standing by him. "I'm OK -- I'm just hurting for him," she told an interviewer.
