The key is it looks like Wii Sports is still going to be included. I would not have been surprised if they dropped the price but removed the game, despite it being a key to their success (at least here in the west). Large businesses tend to do illogical things, after all. It only takes one inept person in a position of power.

Still overpriced @ $199.99
Especially since you can get a X360 for cheaper than that.

$99 is the perfect Wii price.

i wish i never bought a wii. i've had one for 4 1/2 months and only turned it on in order to hack it.

most people don't seem to think the Wii is overpriced.  Can't imagine how much profit Nintendo gets for each one sold.  Last I checked, PS3 is still sold at a loss.

I think Japan does.  The dsi is still doing good numbers but everything else is lucky to sell over 100k a month under ordinary situations.
