So yesterday I went to see G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (it was only $5 and Sienna Miller is hot) and near the end at Cobra's underwater secret base, I was reminded of video games that take you to strange and intriguing places. It reminded me of the little I'd played games out of the Myst series and such. But I'm sure there's much more to the world of PC adventure games that I've barely scratched the surface of. So, can anybody in EB recommend me some good point-and-click puzzle adventure games, or games that focus on where you go as opposed to what you do? Here are some notes, though...
Not Another World, I've played a bit of it and didn't really like it.
I've beaten everything that has anything to do with Knytt. Great stuff.
Already beat Cave Story.
Please don't recommend Schafer/Lucasarts adventure games, I've also played them and they hardly fit the kind of game I'm looking for now.
Also, is the Myst series worth playing? I've heard the puzzles are unfairly difficult to solve, or the game is just boring period. What say you?
