It's an experiment, and I'm going to go ahead and say while slow moving at first it QUICKLY got some steam to it. So I deem it a success so far...or is it?

I've been playing Dragon Quest ever since it was released in the states under the name Dragon Warrior for the NES

Though, I've only played up too DQ/W3 then jumped back in with DQ8

You should give ZX a try. It's a brand new entry that doesn't require you to have played anything previous and feels like a better version of the Zero series. But Castlevania is definitely better.
