Halloween Costumes
« on: September 16, 2009, 11:19:22 AM »
So, my friend is getting on my case about Halloween plans, even though it's mid Sept and I haven't even been thinking about it yet... any of you know what you want to be for Halloween, yet? I am not sure, last year I was Batman, this year dunno... maybe a game character or something?

This year, like the past, I don't know, 25 years, I'm going to be dressed as "guy that is too old to wear a Halloween costume."

I still don't know yet.

And it's never too early to start planning for Halloween - I've been doing it all summer!

Last year I went as Lordmaji.

Not really sure what I'm doing this year.  I'll probably just drag out all the Halloween shit I've accumulated over the past few years and throw something together.

I really don't have anywhere to dress up, so I will probably be sitting at home eating cheap candy.  Dressed as myself, of course.

Give me ideas!

My Wife and I have always kind've wanted to go as elaborately/foppishly dressed dandies.

Something sort of like this.

Kind of a shitty source, but you get the idea.

The problem is that we want to do it right, and it would be hundreds of dollars more than my traditional costume, the dude wig.

John Lennon at the end of this () video.  I just want an excuse to grow my hair out and buy a white jacket.  Originally I was thinking of a full white suit and going Smooth Criminal, but that would cost too much money and I'm not thin enough to make it work.

I actually think Thriller Michael will be the number one costume this year. Michael Jackson in general, really.

No doubt.  Last year it was the Joker.  This year, especially since This is It is out right before Halloween, it's probably going to be something Michael Jackson related.

I really want to do the Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band John Lennon, but I'd never find the other three people to have the dedication to make the other costumes and go with me, and I won't look goofy alone.
