OKAY I WILL DL IT.

I don't even care about combo systems in these games anymore. I'll see if the defense game is better than NGB/NG2 after playing this demo, but that's the main draw. Overly offensive and frantic games like DMC bore me now.

What about the ai? Is the ai at least marginally blood thirsty and ruthless? Or is it like DMC where the enemies just stand around?

edit: Whoops, I fail.  Thought you were asking about NGS2.

DOWNLOAD THE 360 DEMO.  WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?

The PS3 version of Bayonetta is gimped.  It runs at less than half the frame rate of the 360 version and also has blurry IQ.

Nope, seems to have been removed.  Sega's smarter than I give them credit for.   :P

Tried out Ayane in the demo. Finally. Kunoichi Gaiden!

Pretty awesome. I'll check it out more after Infamous.

I liked playing as all three added characters in Sigma 2.  Too bad they each get one short level, and the co-op mode is filled with slowdown.  Game would have been better if you could select (or better yet, switch between) characters on every stage.

I don't think playing the demo of Bayonetta will help convince Himuro Bayonetta is better than NG or DMC.  I'm sure the full game is 40/40 of pure awesome, but the demo is nothing special.  The enemies just sit there and there is no great action.

:lol I like the angrier and more assertive Lyte Edge.

:bow Bayonetta :bow2

Bayonetta must be pimped and defended when necessary!   :pimp :gun :punch :punch :punch

But Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is awesome!  :teehee

So is this the version to get? What's different from the 360 version? Checked out the PS3 demo and that was fun, in a "I don't know how I just did that, but it was cool" sort of way.

I guess all of that was answered in the OP. God damn it, stop putting the important stuff in posts no one reads.

I think the 360 version is the better game all around - the PS3 version is neutered far too much. But if you don't care about diving deep into the game and just plan to play through it once or something, you're probably better off with the PS3 version.

What's "neutered" about it? If you're talking about the blood and stuff, I'm totally alright with that, I have other games for that.

The difficulty mainly. In short, Sigma 2 is just a much easier game, which kills a lot of the fun for me. But like I said, if you're only interested in playing through it once or twice just go with the PS3 version since it has a bunch of additional content, and it fixes a lot of problems with the original (a couple really terrible stages got nice updates in Sigma 2).

I've been messing around with this again lately.

Tip for anyone playing it: disable 1080p in the XMB.  Yes, it's a pain in the ass and a stupid design, but the 1080p upscaled mode runs worse than the 720p mode.  In 1080p, there is more tearing and slowdown while 720p looks cleaner and runs perfect.  Much better looking than the 360 version thanks to a higher resolution.

Yeah, lowered difficulty is not a con in my book. Sounds good, will buy.
