I was told last Friday that I could work remotely for a probationary period, at least until I move to San Francisco, and we'd see if we'd keep going from there. Well, now they're being wishy-washy and telling me just to focus on my short term deadlines. And then I find out they're shopping my job. If it wasn't for the fact that a) I need the cash and b) I want the recommendation, I'd just not show up. At any rate, no matter who they bring on board, they're going to be fucked for awhile. Makes little sense to me.

Today, I asked for a commitment, one way or another, and was told that I'd have an answer tomorrow. What bollocks.

I'm drafting a reference letter now, and if I don't have an answer by tommorrow, I will ask them to sign off on the letter and I will tell them I am working as if the 22nd is my last day.

Um, because they bought the house and they're the owners. They make all the decisions about who moves in. Remember I told you guys like TWO MONTHS ago about some Jewish guy who was going to move in? He still hasn't moved in, and he calls my mom everyday trying to get some dialogue going. I think he'll move in this month though.

The house is going through inspection and shit but we'll pass. All that needs to be done is some banisters going up the stairs (that aren't even needed).

But yea I could possibly make it work. I'm assuming you guys would want pictures of the house before moving in though...and I don't have a camera. What I could do is ask a buddy of mine to let me borrow his. I let him use my Gamestop member card to get a DSL for $80, so he owes me anywy

I realize I don't know any of you in real life, but I'd rather have you guys than 99% of the people I've shown the house to/talked to on the phone. God damn these people.
