Yeah but unlike BC, I actually played the demo of WET and it was awful. I turned it off before I even got to the end. OTOH I actually finished the Stranglehold demo more than once!

If you can turn the grindhouse filter off I'd give it a 2nd look, but the visuals were just sooo ugly.

I'm one of the few that liked the demo for this game, but it's not a game that I would buy at full price.

I see no resemblance to Dante. I did get Kill Bill vibes from the demo though.

She is female Max Payne. Max Payne 1 and 2 are brilliant. Cheap on Steam, pick them up!

I'll get WET when its 30 bucks or less. Shouldn't take long. I like these types of games.

Where do you get "constant" QTEs from. Even the demo didn't have that aside from the car level (which is literally at the beginning of the game). I'm on Level 5 and there's been no other levels like that.

Fuck chapter 6 watching the game being played on hard is pretty awesome though. Girlfriend is loving it and I am too. Just waiting to get my hands on it and play it

Not a bad game at all, the only annoying thing about it is the upgrade system only allows you to upgrade at certain times. Which can be difficult if you fuck yourself in the foot by not upgrading.

That's a step in the right direction, as is allowing you to play with the original Japanese voice actors. But that won't save the story and cutscenes from being terribad and the dungeons from being overly repetitive.

Just beat it on Hard mode... kind of disappointed it all ends in a QTE fight. Also for some reason you don't fight the guy with the swords that stabs you... wanted some sweet sword fight action.

If you want to be disappointed by a QTE end boss fight, try Mercs 2. :'(

WET demo was better than I expected, but I'm likely going to wait until I've played Stranglehold, which is sitting around gathering dust. I feel like if I play WET first, I'll never pick up Stranglehold again.
