If this is facetious, you forgot the rolleyes tag. If this is serious, you've forgotten that Sony is putting a non-removable, non-user-serviceable battery in for the stated reason that it will prevent (or make it much more difficult) jailbreaking of the PSP.

Still, there's no battery in the Wii, and that didn't change much.
Where there's a will, there's a way.

But there's a way to load software in a Wii, and Nintendo is notoriously lax about region protection measures. The PSP Go may be inaccessible except to whatever Sony's store allows.

What do you mean by lax?  They killed freeloader about as soon as it came on the market!

Freeloader was using a hack that pirates were using to play burnt games. The "trucha sign" bug or whatever. So of course Nintendo were gonna block it.
