just noticed there's no weekend thread.  My weekend would not be complete without knowing what strangers are up to and without sharing with strangers what I'm up to!

--watched the Wrestler on blu-ray last night.  Fucking great movie.  I was expecting it to be a lot freakier/darker because it's an Aronofsky film, but it was completely down to Earth.  And for that reason, it was all the more sad.  "Use his leg! Use his leg!" did give me flashbacks of "Ass to ass! Ass to ass!" 

--Finishing Venture Bros. season 2.  Got one more episode to watch on Sunday morning, then on to Season 3 on fucking blu-ray! Anyone have any impressions on this?  I've never watched animation in HD before.

--Finishing the book 2666 - 30 pages to go.  Can't wait to read Roberto Bolano's other books.

--Playing: Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 in anticipation of 2, possibly playing some FFTactics.

--Working on homework...reading and writing as I'm doomed to do for like 6 hours a day for the next three years :'(

--but since I finished the first draft of a paper and knocked out a bunch of reading, I'm gonna go to a party and get hammered tonight.

Today my wife and I went to the mall with some friends, but it got cut short due to my buddy's wife needing to go to work, so we came back after like an hour.  Then the weather got really shitty and it's raining like crazy again.  Not as bad as what happened last week, causing floods, but still bad enough that it might happen again in some places.

The important thing isn't the resolution, it's the lack of censoring.  There's some really smooth penis-dangling animation in the Dr. Killinger episode.

Didn't do too much this weekend - a close friend of mine's grandma died, so we all went to the wake on Friday, and then out to Applebees. Saturday, went on a date, argued with Willco on this board, took my mom and brother out to dinner (Italian of course), and hung out at my friend's house (the one who's grandma died). Today I had to vacuum the god damn pool once again and do more shit around the house, played a bit of Valkyria.

Right now I'm typing out emails to girls, some of these girls write NOVELS in emails lol. And scheduling my week, I think if I organize shit right I could have 4+ dates all in one week... So far, my Mon and Tue is booked up.

That ruined my whole day. At one point, my wife was like "what's wrong with you?". I was too disgusted to answer. then I decided to take out my anger on my opponent this week in Madden. It happened to be the seachickens. But they kicked a 55 yard FG to win at the end. FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
