Obama, White House consider extending unemployment benefits for Redskins coaching staff, players
WASHINGTON (AP) - The White House signaled that it will initiate efforts to extend unemployment benefits to Washington Redskins coaching staff and players that will be laid off next week as the NFL franchise seeks to lower costs and stop sucking so fucking much.
"We recognize that these are tough economic times," said Robert Gibbs, White House Press Secretary, "And considering the competitive employee marketplace in the NFL, and the fact the Redskins coaching staff and its players are so awful, we realize it will be a long time before they find another job - if ever."
Head coach Jim Zorn could not be reached for comment, but television cameras caught the coach filling out his resume on Careerbuilder.com late in the fourth quarter during Washington's 19-14 loss to the Detroit Lions.
