Ted Danson, Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifianakis and HBO? How could this be bad?
First episode sets up the premise (rather poorly): dude drinks too much (supposedly) and smokes a lot of pot so his girlfriend dumps him, so then uh, he puts an ad on craigslist to be a private detective for some reason and hi-jinks ensue sort of. If there was something in there that explained how this all fits together, I must have missed it.
Episode 2 is much better. I think one's enjoyment will ultimately boil down to how much you like -- or how much tolerance you have for -- Jason Schwartzman's usual sensitive depressive shtick, which is out in full fucking force.
