Yikes, sounds like that Wii has got to you. Plugging my ears at this casual talk

there are games worth my time and there are others that aren't.  just sayin'.

NGB is hard as fuck on harder difficulties, but you won't hear me complain about it.

Played the demo. It was alright. Seems offensive is more important than defense, though, based on the demo; yawn. Enjoyed the NGS2 demo more. Gonna rent.

Wow, Himuro has absolutely NO FUCKING UNDERSTANDING of Witch Time and the battle system. :rofl :rofl :rofl

I was able to beat the demo without any of this.

What is witch time again? The thing where you twirl the analog stick and tap the button so you can shoot rapidly in a circular area? Or that part where shit gets purple?

I played the ps3 demo.

I've got it so can activate witch time after most attacks now. The highlight of the demo, of course, is the boss. Air rolling, witch timing his attacks are pretty fun.

In the final game is hard mode unlocked from the get go? Y/N.

No, you have to go through normal first.  The stages in the demo are really easy compared to the rest of the game, though.  Difficulty keeps ramping up progressively.

And hard mode difficulty is insane.

You playing it on hard now?

I finished chapter 1, but I'm stuck in the opening battle of chapter 2 against Jeanne in which you don't have access to your regular equipment and accessories.

Now I'm trying to do all the Alfheim challenges to complete my witch hearts and magic pearls.  Earning money at the same time (though I'm wasting it all on the extra costumes, hahah).

I'm not knocking Bayonetta.

I'm knocking Bayonetta's ps3 demo, which Lyte has confirmed to be a poor representation of the final game. The final game, however, is probably as good as he says it is (although I have my doubts).

Plus, riling up you man babies is always as fun as ever.

Review by: Kranz "the fafkanator" Fafka

Bayonetta - the deepest witch action you will find all year

Bayonetta is a video game that is really good.  I really like the art style and presentation of it.  From the second you press "start", the action is ratcheted all the way up through 10.  Bayonetta is the name of the main character and also the game.  She is a witch who has forgotten her memory.  People help her try to remember her memories but she recalls things through the game that help jog it.

I like the character and story a lot and I can really relate.  My girlfriend practices wicca and wears glasses, so in a way bayonetta is like my real life.  The story of the game is really the main draw here.  I started the game on normal but it was cheap, so I went for the easiest mode, which takes away the hassle of controlling the characters every movement and makes it so you only need one hand on the controller to play (and for as hot as this witch is, this is very important #1!)  I recommend this to most players because it is really the easiest way to quickly get through the game while watching lots of cool action. It becomes like the upcoming PS3 game Heavy Rain except its more like watching an cool anime than a soap opera.

Overall, the sound is very great and has lots of good music.

7/10

Sorry to hear that...try more bestbuys!

If it's any consolation, Kamiya deserves a nobel peace prize for this game.

Only complaint is when a fucking QTE kills you and screws up your chapter score.  Look out for those.  Otherwise, it's fucking perfect.  Look out for all the capcom/clover references too.  good fan service there.

yeah, you get ingredients from breaking stuff.  there's 3 colors-- red, yellow, green.  you use them to make health potions (green herbs), something that raises your strength, and another that raises your defense, I think.  the last two are temporary.

I'm starting to get my ass seriously kicked, so I've been grinding to get all the techniques and stuff.  A lot of the regular enemies are like bosses from other games...agni and rudra are regular enemies in this. :lol

Play other games while you're waiting for this because nothing else will ever be fun again.  It's basically DMC4, if Kamiya had made it.  DMC4 actually feels like more of a spin-off in retrospect compared to this game.  And of course, the Bayonetta/Jeanne scenes are totally dante and virgil.
