David Letterman acknowledged on Thursday's show that he had sexual relationships with female employees and that someone tried to extort $2 million from him over the affairs.During the taping of his CBS late-night show in New York, Letterman discussed receiving a threat to either pay $2 million or risk the relationships being made public. In a release from the show's production company, Letterman said he referred the matter to the Manhattan district attorney's office and that an investigation ended in an arrest Thursday. Letterman did not identify the person he said was arrested. As part of the investigation, Letterman said he issued a "phony" $2 million check to the individual and the arrest followed — along with testimony by Letterman.
Money gets extorted. People get blackmailed.
It's not rape tho is still better
What if she didn't extort him, did you ever think about that? And if she did, what if she said she was sorry?

It's the threat to reveal the information unless paid that's illegal.

Poor Letterman.Evil women.
Wow, where in the article did it say he was being blackmailed by one of the women he was nailing? Turns out that the blackmailer was a dude, a producer from 48 Hours at CBS. Telling that you'd automatically assume that it's a woman...
It was a dude threatening him.
What is this stuff on the apple I was eating? I was eating halfway when I saw them. At first I thought they were bugs, which kinda made me gag, but on further inspection I think they may be seeds. Either way, I've never came across this in any apple I eaten and I tend to the whole apple, core and all.(Image removed from quote.)Eww
