Didn't Arkedo used to make DS games?  Why would they jump to an indie game service?

Oh well, definitely feels like a professional game, just wish there was some way to save.  Great game with a fun sense of humor, definitely worth the points.

I downloaded the demo, it's pretty sweet.

Does anyone know what happened to that launch game, Artoon? Did they change its name or have some games been removed from the service? I still have the demo but no means to buy the full version. It's the one with the ball jumping from platform to platform to change their color.

I think indie games on XBL are not QA'd by MS, except maybe to make sure they don't break the system. Possibly even that is left to the inherent peer review. Without a more thorough process, the cost of which would likely discourage the simple development environment they've made, they cannot responsibly add  Achievements.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see them implemented as well. If I have a choice between spending spacebucks on something that increases GamerScore vs. not-increasing it, except for Rock Band tracks it's a no-brainer. Hell, they could tack a 10 pt. achievement onto any Avatar items, and they'd begin selling like hotcakes, believe you me.

They can't add achievements to indie games because it would completely undermine the achievement system.  You'd see countless shitty 80pt games where you press the start button and unlock the achievements.  Having to add another layer to the peer review system to check for achievement validation would just make the process more annoying and arbitrary, the only reason your game should not pass is if there's some major bugs or interface issues.

The whole idea for indie games is so anyone can make a game without any major restrictions than an XBLA title would get.  You can add your own achievements to the game, but if you want it to increase gamerscore, better start fishing for an XBLA contract.

Got it.  Does anyone know how many stages there are?  Since you can't save it'd be nice to know how much time needs to be put aside for a run through this.

The beginning levels are kinda easy so I'm not looking forward to doing them again on my next run (played the first 8 or 9 and then had to leave and turn it off).  I agree with the people saying it'd be nice if they added a save system.

But for $3 it's great.
