John Darinelle is my favorite lyrcist in current circulation and a major inspiration in general, as well as a funny dude and a ridiculously nice guy, so his appearance on the Colbert Report is one of those ‘two great tastes that taste great together’ moments.

Very cool. I hung out with him one night after an in-store performance in Seattle. John is a great guy.
