Ok, just saw theatrical ending. Honestly, I liked the screener version even more. The ending to the theatrical version seemed like cookie-cutter shock horror, which this movie totally wasn't about.

The theatrical version (from what I've read :teehee) seems to have made a few good choices - shuffling a few sequences, downplaying the reluctance to get an investigator after it's clear it was out of their hands), but the ending sounds out of tone with the movie and more a setup for PA2: The Unexplained Knockening
