Acting white=acting smart according to most of the people who use this example. I've been told by fellow blacks that I act too white since I'm "smart", like to read, watch the history channel, etc. So these people are essentially saying blacks are stupid, so to act black=be dumb. It's a double edged sword, and I don't like it at all, nor do I endorse it.

But when I saw Viz's post I saw what he was trying to do, and saw no ill will. He's certainly not racist.

This happened to at the game store I used to work at:

Yugeez were scary people.     This one guy was at two stores for about SEVEN HOURS STRAIGHT looking at those fucking cards.  He was just like "I don't have anything better to do, I'm off work today."

It used to creep me out seeing this guy and a couple of the other 30+ year olds come in to the store to play or trade cards with the kids on the weekends.  (We had tournaments there...god I hated that shit so damn much.  I refused to learn to play the game or be any part of it other than ringing up the entry fees)
