The same pillows who did the flcl music? Btw, it sounded like alot of their songs were engrish in flcl, but I was never absolutely sure.

Yeah, this is their 20th anniversary and they have about 20 albums by now, lol. After some listens I don't think their latest is particularly great. It has some good songs, but it's short and nothing really sticks out.

They usually do about 1-2 engrish songs per album and 7-9 songs in Japanese with 1 instrumental. This album has 3 engrish songs which may be a record for the band. The FLCL music was like a "best of" collection of their late 90s albums. A lot of the songs were turned to instrumentals for the FLCL soundtrack, but almost every BGM in the series is a normal Pillows song with lyrics. If you like the FLCL stuff you might want to check out the original songs. They're mainly from Little Busters, Runners High, and Happy Bivouac.
