I was skeptical of the game, but I played some of it at a kiosk at Best Buy and I thought it was pretty fun. Even though I'm kinda burned out on peripheral music games, this seemed a bit refreshing. My biggest complaint is the small turntable size. Plus a dual turntable set up would've have been more authentic.

I'll probably pick up on clearance, though. You know it's coming.

There's a kiosk at TRU but I didnt look at it. They also had RIDE but I think it was just a display.

I want a soundtrack more than the game. They're fucking themselves if they think I'll spend more than $100 after taxes on it. Maybe Black Friday will have a deal.

This actually looks kind of cool and not just a clone of a Bemani game. I bet a bud of mine will snag it and I'll at least check it out at their place.

Don't really care for Windowlicker but yeah, it's really the music selection that's lacking. Black Eyed Peas mashups just isn't my thing. If the game had more house on the soundtrack I would be down. The game has nothing to do with actual DJing either.

Yea, my controller is a Numark, they make some fairly decent entry-level DJ stuff.

Not really. It's cleaner and more professional looking, but it's lacking in gameplay potential. But given that the company existed to get bought out by Activision, I'm not surprised it wasn't a 100% effort.

Yeah but you're comparing a bad steak to a crusted over turd here. The music isn't BAD, but I hate mashups, especially ones with Gwen Stefani. If the game had stuff like Windowlicker on it, or some Prodigy or Bloody Beetroots, or Basementjaxx...
I really hated the bemani music though. About as far as quality as you can get. I suffered though it because that's all we had!

The only company I trust with the music genre these days are Harmonix so I'm rather skeptical of this game. That and the $120 price tag is really doing a great job of convincing me not to buy it.

IAWTP. I will never understand why JFags have a hard-on for Bemani music. Also, DJ Hero could use some music that doesn't suck. The MC Hammer/Vanilla Ice mix is the only thing going for it.

yeah pretty much. Awful pop mash ups, and the game doesnt have anything to do with DJing. At least Guitar Hero sort of emulates playing a guitar
