Killing Floor, that other coop zombie killing game is free to play all day tomorrow on the great service that is called steam. You can even get the achievements and there's an addon included that's launching tomorrow. You can pre-load it today.

I never bought it. I don't really need another zombie killing game. But for free, hell yeah I will play this tomorrow night. Anyone else down?

I added bebop and FatalT; tried adding Linkzg but it say it's unable to find it. I am not good with computer.

I'll be around all day, so whenever someone wants to play just post it here or something.

I'm having connection problems so I'm out for tonight. After the first match I played with you guys everything went to shit

I was playing some earlier and I actually like it a lot. We made it to wave 11/10 and got raped by the Patriarch or whatever

The short waves have a lot more enemies so they seem a lot harder...

Yeah, I was in a game with swaggaz where we made it to the boss and everyone went and hid in a little shack. Then the boss walks in and instantly my screen is upsidedown and I'm dead and everyone is scrambling around the shack getting murdered. lol

Also on my steam it says the game has 2 days remaining. So I guess it's free all weekend? If so I'm going to keep playing and maybe buy it at the end. Giving you stats and achievements is evil in demos because you want to be able to keep what you've earned when it's over

Wow, this game gave me my first BSOD since I built this computer in April. Froze for a while on a loading screen and then when I went to quit it BSOD'd me >_<

That boss was nuts. I wish I took a video of what I was seeing.

I was shooting him and walking backwards, I walked through a bush and was still firing at him (he was a good bit away from me) and then suddenly I'm dead and it says he killed me.

oh, and I don't think the others understood what to do in that shack situation. I understood what the two regular players were doing by wanting to trap him in that room, sealing both doors and shooting through the window. Almost everyone was just standing in there with him getting slaughtered

Yeah, it's a really bad idea to get into a confined space with the boss zombie. He will straight-up murder you in half a second with his massive fists, minigun, and rocket launcher. The best way to go is to stay near a building but remain outside so you have things to hide behind and space to run.

The only thing I don't like about the game is I can see losing interest in it real fast after you've maxed all the perks. Then again, this is coming from someone who lost interest in L4D after a week or two of the same level layouts over and over again.

Hey, at least Steam has a solution (unlike a certain console

). I type in the error on their support page and immediately find out that if your system crashes in steam, it can corrupt that file and give that error. So you go into the steam dir and rename the file and it just creates a fresh file next time you start steam.

I opened up the ports the devs say to open and tried hosting a game. After a few mins I got a full room and everyone was around 100ping or less so it seems to work now and it's way better than trying to join a game with the crappy server browser.

Got to level 1 Berserker and omg, with an axe or better I am UNSTOPPABLE. I take on everything and chop them up. So fun! Ended up buying the game for $15 because my character is starting to get badass now and I want to keep him

Plus I haven't played an online game in a long, long time. So this will be fun to mess around with in spare time until L4D2.
