Blood Diamond is a cookie cutter Hollywood preachy film, with a good Leo performance.
The Departed is Marty kicking ass again with a a great cast on top of their games and an excellent Leo performance.

And Zwick should NEVER be put > Marty in ANY context. Zwick has directed 1 great film. Marty has directed about 10, and is the greatest living American director.

It's such a trip.

I really can't tell if it's good or bad, I just enjoy the very interesting ride.

I dug out the soundtrack to it a few days ago, and listened to Garbage's #1 Crush and Radiohead's Talk Show Host, and now I must watch the movie.
