Join me! I'm not going to shave for a month. November starts No Shave November, and I joined movember.com just to join a cause and help out.

You guys should join in too. I haven't shaved in two weeks anyway.

I'm alright with not being able to grow a beard, but this alopecia thing keeps me from having wicked sideburns. Also, dudes who can grow crazy sideburns but don't are really fucking fail.

While I loathe shaving, as it's a totally repetitive, unrewarding experience, I hate the idea of untamed facial hair even more. I'm too lazy to shave more than 2 times a week, 3 times AT MOST, but beyond that... facial hair really gets on my nerves.

I tried growing a beard once and after 6 weeks it was kinda that really filthy kind of beard that guy from the music video where he says "SOMETHING SOMETHING JESUS" had. You know, the kind where the mustache and under lip area are full while everyone else just looks dark and dirty.

If i didn't shave for an entire month, there would be no visible face left. Maybe the eyes. I've been able to grow a full beard since around 11 or 12yrs old - the kids in school used to call me Captain Caveman. When they weren't calling me "Daddy".

I did get laid while sporting a beard, but it wasn't the full-on lumberjack beard. So, I guess you're right.
