I agree, shit like Wonder Showzen and Tim and Eric don't belong on there, and the total lack of It's Always Sunny is a travesty. I'd also include Chuck.

I think what we can all agree on is that this was the best decade for television programming since ever.

Although any list with two Josh Whedon shows isn't worth shit.

Buffy's best years were in the 90s, not the aughts. In hindsight, I feel comfortable in saying that the show got really lame once she went to college.

Because it's awesome, unlike Chuck.

If you're arguing that the central concept of the show is the same, of course it is - that's how most television works. If that bothers you, you better not watch House or Dexter or Burn Notice or anything else in that vein.

Great character, great writing. One of the best written shows on television since the end of the first season - which was very uneven. And guess what, even the AV Club agrees.

I love Chuck, but it did always seem to boil down to "Sarah why don't you love me  :'(" and "Chuck you're the intersect THATS WHY."

I'm very intrigued by the third season's twists though, considering where the series is going now.  And Chuck is an awesome character, but his awesomeness is surpassed by most everyone around him.

Nah, terrible character.  Everyone else in the show carries Chuck's whiny ass.  i feel the same about Burn Notice that I do Chuck, good, but not great with better side characters than the main one.  Dexter and House get a pass for the formulaic nature of their shows because the main characters are so awesome.

I agree with this, and I enjoy Chuck quite a bit.

Although Cohen's comments aren't far from the truth about the formula of the show. Even if they are just making the same episode over and over, they're getting better at it.

Depends on what episodes you watch though. In earlier ones his character is just completely oblivious to social etiquette, so he gets shit despite the fact that the majority of what he does is logical. In some of the episodes in the later seasons he's just being a straight up prick.

Both are pretty funny, but I can see how the latter would annoy some people.

I don't get HBO ( :( ), so the majority of what I see is when we're visiting my wife's parents in Nebraska. I think I've seen mostly later season prick episodes.
