I can't be the only guy on The Bore that believes that having a gun in your hand is one of the better feelings in the world.  What do you guys have?  Does anyone conceal & carry?  If so, what are your state laws, what's your preferred method of concealment, etc etc.

It's just a plinking gun.  It's a false suppressor.  And it's a .22 caliber.  So, it's cheap to shoot for targets, there's NO recoil, and it's not that loud.  It's what I like taking out to the range to put some holes in some targets.

I got my CHL a few years ago and I have recently began to carry the HighPoint with me.  I keep the Makarov loaded and locked in my nightstand.  The HighPoint stays with me or in my vehicles most of the time (except for when I go to work and places that specifically forbid it of course).

Edit: Not to mention, the accuracy of the HighPoint is vastly superior to the Makarov.

Yeah, that's why I tend to like my Mosquito more than my other guns.  It's a lot more accurate since it's a smaller caliber weapon, and it's fairly light, and fairly small.  I'd say that when I do get my CCW (Kentucky's carry permit) that's what I'll carry where legal. 

That's actually part of why I made the thread.  I'm looking for good ways to conceal carry a handgun.  I'm thinking about getting a IWB holster, but I don't know yet.  I don't usually like stuff between me and the waist of my jeans, and even then I'm worried about printing where I don't usually wear really baggy clothing.  I have a shoulder holster, but that doesn't do me much good unless I have a jacket on, which I don't usually wear jackets for long.  It would be awkward to either be sitting somewhere with a jacket on sweating, or take off a jacket to reveal a handgun in the middle of everywhere.

had a nice high-grade scope for it, too, and it was fuck accurate even at several hundred yards plus

got rid of it when we had the kid. i have an old 20-gauge plinker shottie back at my parents' house, but fuck'd if i can recall the model.

I have a hip and ankle holster.  I prefer the ankle holster.  Although since I've been wearing a jacket due to the cold, I've been using the hip holster and man is it so much more comfortable.  I wish Texas was still an open carry state.

niiiiice.  I love 30.06's.  My grandpa gave my dad my 30.06 and then my dad left it to me when he passed away a couple months ago.  It's an older bolt action rifle, but goddamn it feels sweet.

The trigger for me was when I saw her play with a toy gun when she was like 3. The first thing she did was turn the barrel to her head and squeeze the trigger. I had nightmares about that for a while. I'll just have to wait with buying the really cool stuff until I have my own bunker. Although I very nearly got a PS90 the other day.

This is my heirloom.  It is now in the possession of my uncle who has to give it to me if I ever ask (was left to my father).  It is a Perkins 10 guage shotgun that my great great uncle carried in the Confederate cavalry during the Civil War. The picture is of the sawed off versions - mine is full barrel.

other than that i plan on getting a .357 magnum revolver and a 12 gauge shotgun down the line, then eventually get into military surplus rifles and ammo

Oddly enough, my dad has one of these.  I actually don't like it all that much.  It's hard to explain, but it seems like the bottom of the gun is too light for the top.   When you shoot it and the gas blows the slide back, there's too much top recoil and it isn't spread through the gun like most others I've shot.  It's weird sounding, I know, but I don't like it for that.  My 1911 shoots a lot more evenly.
