My Dad loves Porters, so I'll drink them with him, but I'd much rather have a Pale Ale or IPA. If you're ever in the Seattle area, you need to try Manny's. I love it so much, but it's only available on tap in bars or you can get a growler at Georgetown Brewery in South Seattle. We had a keg of Manny's for our weekend out on the coast for Memorial Day weekend. Sooo awesome.

I'm all about the microbrew ales from Oregon and Washington (Manny's. So. Good). My dad is close friends with the brewmaster at Deschutes in Bend, OR so we get to try all kinds of test beers whenever they're in town. Also get a free keg of Mirror Pond for my birthday every year.
